Need help with my PSN(Playstation Network)?

About 6 days ago I tryed to play "Modern Combat" but when i tryed to log into the PSN it told me that "Playstation Network is currently Undergoing Maintenance. so I waited, and waited. but here I am 6 days later and it still wong work... is this a problem on my end?... does your ps3 say the same thing?... Does this have anything to do with the earth quake in japan?(Sony is a japanese company and it makes Playstation)...
